Pig Cookie Cutter (Flying)
ICING THE COOKIE: To decorate this cookie, first outline with a stiff royal icing using a piping bag fitted with a coupler & icing tip #2 or #3. Next, thin some icing in a bowl to a flood consistency and fill in the center of the cookie. Add icing eyes
. Let dry for an hour or two. Using the same piping bag with the #2 tip, add tail, nose and wing details, if desired. Let dry for several hours, or overnight.
ADDING LUSTER DUST: Luster dust
can be added dry, for a light effect, or wet, as in the cookie shown, for more shine. Using clear Vanilla Extract
, pour a tiny amount in a small cup and dip brush into it, and then into luster dust container, sticking it to the brush. Mix together in the cup. Keep dipping brush back into luster dust until you get the desired thickness. Paint over icing and let dry.
